When listening to a story read aloud make sure to keep you mind on the words of the reader. If you must close your eyes and try to visualize the story. For example, I picture Stanley Yelnat's as kinds of a greasy looking fat kid. Camp Green Lake I seen with rows of white barrack type buildings. I see a flat expanse of land with many 5ft by 5ft holes. To me it looks brown and barren. It has the appearance of many cemetary plots. Taking Science Notes Science is about concepts. When taking notes it is helpful to place the name of the Concept on the left hand side of the page and information about it on the right. This method of taking notes is helpful when it is time to study. Just fold the paper over only exposing the concepts. Say the anwers aloud to yourself or in your head and unfold the paper to see if your correct. | |
