DO YOU BELIEVE IN CAPITAL PUISHMENT?

It's hard to convince people that murder is wrong, no matter what the reason. It is one thing to jail someone forever...to keep others safe. It is quite another to strap someone to a table, put drugs in their arms, and watch the fear in their eyes as they die. Even a better picture is the electric chair in which a person's head is shaved, legs and arms strapped, and a metal cap on their head set up to shoot large bolts of electricity through the persons body. Not a pretty sight folks. Did any of you see that movie, "The Green Mile"?
Capital Punishment is wrong for several reasons. As described above, it is inhumane. Forcing someone to their execution. How would you like to know the day, the time, and the hour of your death years before it happens? It reminds me of times past when people were executed by hanging. The courts find this too gruesome.
Murder is against the law in all 50 states and most other countries so how can we use it as a punishment for crime? What about the guy who has to pull the switch? The judge who has to make the decisions on the criminals pleas for his life? The jury who sentenced him to die? All the people are conspiritors in a murder plot sanctioned by our government.
The last and most important reason against capital punishment is that our legal system is flawed in many cases corrupt. Evidence often turns up in later years that shed new light on old crimes. It would be a tragedy to execute an innocent man. Then all those conspiritors I talked about would be stricken with the reality of their actions. Criminals are still human.
